This has got to be one of the weirdest restaurants on earth! haha. My friend Jennifer shared this with me today and now I share it with you. It makes me think she really IS into poo. Her screen name's poopoo123. hahah. Thanks Jennifer!

On the website, I guess it says that the hemp straps are cute, but break easily. Not exactly a good selling point. haha.

My friend, Yuko, who I gave a bday shout out to a while back is about to get a brand new spankin' Canon Rebel XSI and she's already bought a cool strap to customize her 'fit! I've never even thought about pimping out my camera! I was really blown away when Yuko blogged about these straps! haha. The japanese think of everything!!! I know what i need to do....I need to BLING out my camera! I know what you're thinking....MORE BLING, JUDY??!!?? I love buying cheap, shiny, gaudy jewelry and actually wearing it. SO YES, WE NEED MORE BLING!!! haha.
If anyone is really interested in the straps I will try to get Yuko to cough up the URL. haha.

Jeni from Oishii Eats just got a new camera bag and boy, is it cute!!! Be sure to check out her blog. She's tasted almost everything under the L.A. sun and takes awesome, mouth-watering photos.

On a side note, I've been having the worst of luck!!!!!!!! I'm really, really sick right now, probably because i've been overworking myself and suffering from lack of sleep. But that's besides the point. I've been so delirious that I lost my wallet (among other things) !!! So I cancelled everything and went to the DMV to get a new license. They made me take a new picture and i was like, are you serious??? I look like I got beat with an ugly stick!!! hahah. They're also making me take the written test again. And when did it cost $28 to renew a license?!? They're so cruel, those dmv people. Zoinks, I should be sleeping right now. Good night!

I don't know if you guys have checked out Brooklyn Bride lately, but there are some beautiful photos of Sarah's (from Truly Smitten) wedding. I love, love, love her color scheme! The bouquets are absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE ranunculus!!! They're so beautiful bunched together. I would've loved to crash her wedding! haha.

Sarah is a graphic designer and she's started her own design studio, Truly Smitten. Her work is flawless and she has an amazing aesthetic. She also has a blog that you must check out! You will be TRULY SMITTEN. (Oops! Sorry Sarah, I did it again! haha)

I have returned from the big apple! I almost didn't make it back, not that it would've been a bad thing, but I had a monstrous cupcake order the next day. American Airlines wouldn't let me on my flight and I ended up having to buy another ticket. That's pretty much where my stimulus check went...and more. =( I know...wah-wah. haha. Anyways, on with the pictures!

The BEST RISOTTO EVER!!!! Risotteria in greenwich village. It's a modern, gluten free & vegetarian restaurant and bakery. I ordered the risotto with roasted portobello, mozarella and truffle oil. SOOOOO freaking delicious!!! Janelle and I ordered extra truffle oil, too.

I don't want to hype it up too much, but these are seriously one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had in my life!!!! They're from Jacques Torres. Even Martha Stewart proclaimed these cookies of mass deliciousness as the best in New York. You can find the recipe online. I can't find it for you because I am lazy right now =)

Babycakes This just in...Babycakes is coming out to West Hollywood!!! Look out for it come winter 2008. People are going to go crazy, I just know it. Their goods are gluten free, vegan, and refined sugar free. I was really impressed! The cupcakes were moist and not too sweet. I don't know why, but i thought i was going to bite into a rock. Totally off topic, but has anyone seen Sprinkles building a new place off of La Cienega next to Boule? I think they're going to be doing more than cupcakes, but I could just be making this up. I did a drive-by so I didn't get to peek in to see what's really going on.

There were peonies being sold everywhere in NY! I hardly see these in Cali, but then again I've been getting my flowers at the grocery store. Maybe that's my problem.

I'll have to post more pictures later. I didn't get to eat at as many restaurants as last time since i was hanging out with the fam. My mom and aunts wanted to eat korean food like 100 times. haha. On my last trip to NY, all we did was eat, walk, taxi, eat. Eat, eat, eat. We did this for 1.5 days, no breaks. Every hour we were consuming something, but it was totally worth it. =) BRB!
