Flashback

I've been slowly cleaning and packing. It's been agonizing because I have so much junk, but amidst all this sorting, I uncovered this old school photo of my friend, Cathy and me. GEEZ I've AGED! hahaha. (You can click on the photo to enlarge.) We had to have been at least 19 or 20 years old. What's funny is that I used to wear overalls ALL THE TIME. It was a major staple in my wardrobe. We need to bring back the overalls, guys!!!! haha. Bring it back, bring it back! j/k. hehe. 

Farewells, part 1

I leave in 3 days! AHHHHH!!!!!! Is this really happening??!!!?? I think I'm going to s**t my pants! haha. 

Here is a photo diary of what I've been doing for the last two weeks. It's a loaded post and the pics aren't of the best quality. Commentary on my part will be at a minimum because blogging takes FOREVER!!!! haha. Except for the last few photos everything has revolved around food, 'cause that's how I roll. =)

I know this is random, but have you tried the new Sorbetto at Starbucks?!? DELICIOUS! It's the pinkberry yogurt in slushy form. 

I wasn't bonkers over the burger, but the sweet potato fries with the garlic blue cheese aioli were BOMB!

Chowing down at Earthen in Rowland Heights, my favorite chinese restaurant. You have to get the chicken with cucumbers and the green onion pancakes. The jellyfish is good also.

This restaurant is seriously in the middle of nowhere. I bet you've never heard of Mentone, CA!!! haha. It's a diamond in the rough. I was very happy with my meal. Thanks J&L!

Bring on the Estrogen!!!

How do I even start? I guess I should start out by saying that I'll be leaving in a couple of weeks (for NYC), which means I've made my decision. It's a hard little pill to swallow, but I think I need to get away for a while and embark on something new. Though I will continue to bake and return to my beloved cupcakes one day! Thanks to everyone who contributed to the post below!!! You guys are awesome! Don't worry, I'm not going because you guys voted me to go. I'm going because I think I should go. =) Anyways, on with the post!

My dearest friends Cathy and Lillian wanted to hang out with me before I go. We haven't hung out together in over a year. The 3 amigos have reunited! Thanks for taking me out, Cat & Lills!!! I had so much fun. You guys are the best!!! And thanks for that extra special korean spa experience at the end of the day. I know I had no choice since I wasn't driving and Cathy was sooo easy to convince, but it wasn't so bad. I feel really clean and relaxed. haha. I guess we can say we've gotten extra close, huh? haha. We still have to eat PUFFY TACOS!!! haha. Enough blabbering...let's bring on the estrogen!!!! haha

Getting ready to eat cupcakes at vanilla bakeshop. They were very good! They have fillings in them. My faves were the key lime and the raspberry lime. You can sample many flavors by getting the minis. 3 for $5. I think most people buy the minis.

I thought this was cute. It looks like she's eating corn on the cob, but she's not. I should also mention that Lillian thinks she can eat more than me. RIGHT!!!! haha. When are you going to drop this competition, Lillian? It's silly, really. =) haha.
My ice cream bar was seriously delicious. Their ice cream is awesome. It was the butterscotch bar with banana dulce de leche ice cream? I don't remember. I gobbled that up real good.
