Boo!

This is one of my all-time favorite halloween pics. Don't Kaz and the pumpkin look alike??? haha.

This halloween will be another budget costume for me. I was going to go as an 80's aerobics instructor, but for some reason I woke up one day and said, I want to be a kitty cat. I don't even like cats! haha. But the costume will be so easy to do and cost hardly a penny! If anyone plans on going to the NYC Village Halloween Parade, see you there!!! Can't wait! It will be F-ing cold! =) Have a safe and scary halloween!

Because I don't have Photoshop

I've resorted to other tricks and tactics to make my pictures look ridiculously cool. Who needs photoshop?? (Actually, I do. C'mon BK!) I found this cool website via paper + cup. All you have to do is upload your photo and you have an instant antique photo! Tada! The japanese website says, "Photos like over 100-150 years old!" hahaha. Love it.
Lillian getting ready for her wedding. She looked amazing.

My friend, she's pregnant! =O (the one above, not the one below =) ) Congrats again! Can't wait to meet your little alien. That's what they call the baby. haha.
Kickin' it old school.

gant + the sartorialist

I can't believe I waited so long to post this. Anyways, I met Scott Schuman aka THE SARTORIALIST!!!!! He had a small exhibition and my roommies + sujata and I went to it for a hot 15 minutes. We were in and out like that! However, we didn't leave without taking a picture with him. haha. He was really nice and very handsome, with the bluest of eyes! My night was all of a sudden complete. haha. He really takes amazing photographs. Check out the photos here

Scroll through the photos to see how everything unfolded. It's pretty funny...and ALMOST LAME and embarassing, but I don't care! haha.
I ganked these photos off someone else's blog. Janelle found these and they made me laugh! Look to the right and you'll see Janelle, me and Jennifer's back. Janelle has her hand on her chin. This is us WAITING for our chance to meet the sartorialist, waiting to make out move. haha.
OH! And here's me TALKING to the sartorialist. I was telling him how much I love his work and that I just moved out to NYC from California. He welcomed me to NY and said that he hopes I'm having a good time. HECK YES I'm having a good time! haha.
The Sartorialist himself! Mission accomplished. Thanks for hooking it up, Janelle! Poor thing wasn't ready for the picture. =)

Chelsea at night

-Here are some random photos that I never got around to posting.

-I still can't believe that I'm living out here!!! I think that at least once everyday and it makes my heart smile. I'm truly thankful.

-School has been intense and I look tired everyday, but I'm halfway through the semester. So far, so good!

-The heat has finally been turned on in my apt. building. THANK YOU, JESUS! =)

Hotel Gansevoort
We put the F in FUN. I'm so happy you're here, Kim! She's an amazing singer/talent. She can sing opera style! Now that's gangster.

Pastis. I was supposed to eat oysters here with Kim. I had to regretfully decline because I had a midterm the next day. SO SAD!!!!! haha. I was sad-faced for at least 30 minutes. =(
I swear it feels like you have to be tall, thin and wear $500 designer heels to hang out here. F that! haha.

Bulgogi hotdogs!

You heard me! They have bulgogi hotdogs out here and they're pretty darn good! What makes the combo work is that the hotdog is salty and the bulgogi is sweet. It's a nice balance. It comes packed with lettuce and pickles. What I really wanted was some kim chee sprinkled on top. They even have chicken hot dogs and those come with, you guessed it! Dak-gui (chicken bbq). I'll have to try that one next time. Make it a combo meal for a couple dollars more and you get a coffee and a yogurt. Do they have these out in California yet? If not, someone needs to jump on it! $$$ haha.

I can't believe I ate a hot dog after seeing Banksy's exhibit off 7th Ave. If you've seen his work at "the pet store", you'll understand why. Thanks Jeni, thanks Dylan! haha. I'll post some pics later.

Behold...the bulgogi hotdog at New York Hotdog & Coffee:

DELICIOUS!!!! haha. I don't want to hype it up too much, but I liked it. =)

p.s. It's really, really ridiculously cold out here. I wear my north face down jacket and furry ugg boots around the apt. Did I mention that I also sleep in my down sleeping bag along with two down blankets? I'm camped out in the upper east side. I'm cold! Somebody hold me! haha.

p.p.s. BK, I needs photoshop!!! My photos look lame. Get on it! =)

It's officially fall!

At least in these parts it is. To witness fall in all its grandeur, the dental crew and I headed out to Massachusetts to see the leaves change colors-Williamstown to be exact, located in the Berkshires. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I don't even think the pictures do it justice. It was so peaceful and such a nice break from the city and school. Did I mention that I got Columbus day off??? Yeah, it was freaking awesome. haha.

p.s. BK, I neeeeed cs3!!!! PLEASE believe!!! =).

So we went to Natural Bridge State Park, home to North America's only marble dam. Apparently there was a civil war reenactment going on at the park. WEIRD! haha.
Ornamental gourd. He looks sad. Poor guy. haha.
Lawrence and his "sartorialist" shot.

At the entrance of our hike-Busby Trail.

I wonder if Tyra would approve of my model pose. I think it's pretty fierce! haha.
PEEK-A-BOO!!! hhaha.

We made it to the top!

Need a hug? Hug a tree!
At the Williams College campus.

Doesn't this saying sound a lot better than, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land on the stars"? Totally. I think I found my new myspace/facebook quote. haha.

We watched the sun set at Clarksburg State Park (sigh). haha.
