Maybe you guys can just scroll down and look at the pictures? They pretty much sum up my 4-day weekend. We had lots of visitors and ate tons. My aunt and uncle were also in town and they bought me lots and lots and lots of korean food. I'm so thankful! =)

Hope your weekend was filled with lots of food and lots of love!

Sunday Night Dinners: High School Cafeteria Food

Every Sunday evening the roommates and I have dinner together. It's the one night where we stay in and cook together. Our dinners are expanding and we've grown to include a few guests. My cousin Kev usually comes but he was away this weekend. Too bad he missed out because tonight's dinner theme was high school cafeteria food!!! haha

On our menu:
Tater Tot Casserole
Veggie Chicken Nuggets
Salad
Rice
Juice box drinks
twinkies
ice cream bars
cheese and cwackers

I also had the ingenious idea of feeding everyone TWINKIES. hahaha. This was the funniest dinner ever. I couldn't stop laughing. You'll see why.

Judy and Janelle take over the upper west side

Before heading out to see the new james bond movie, Janelle and I hopped on over to the west side to ride scooters. We pretty much broke into her cousins' apartment and stole the scooters. Thanks Rosemary, Thanks Al! We had TONS OF FUN!!!! =) We were later accused of partaking in elitist asian activities by Jennifer and Matthew. Sorry guys! Can't get in without the yellow skin. haha j/k!!!!

Extreme Makeover: Filipino Edition!

One day I turned to my roommate and said, "Janelle, we need to bleach that head of yours  blooooonde!!!!" Her hair's cropped and her complexion's perfect! Why not?

So I pulled out this photo I had been saving on my computer and showed her. When I first saw this photo on the sartorialist, I was blown away (and this was a couple of years ago)! I thought, wow, this haircut and color looks AMAZING on this girl. I mean, she looks like a model! SO FREAKING COOL, right??? It's also one of my favorite photos taken by scott schuman. Janelle agreed and started making plans to hit the bottle (of bleach). But we haven't gotten to the best part yet...
Behold, the inspiration for Janelle's hair. Photo by The Sartorialist

Janelle saying bye-bye to her black hair.

Janelle, the blonde roommate!!!
Crazy?? yes!! Cool?? YES!!! haha.

The BEST part: So I walked into the apartment the other day and I saw Janelle getting her hair cut in our living room. I thought Janelle's friend was cutting her hair, but it turns out THE GIRL CUTTING HER HAIR WAS THE EXACT SAME GIRL SHOT BY THE SARTORIALIST!!!! (see photo above) CRAZY!!!!! hahah. Song Hee is a hair stylist. We obviously didn't make the connection because her hair is back to its natural color and much longer. Plus the photo was taken a while back, but STILL! hahha. I just couldn't believe she was in our living room snipping away at my roommate's hair!!! haha. It gets crazy out here in the upper east side! haha. BTW, she is really nice and fun to talk to.

If you need your hair cut, you can find Song Hee at Deluxe out in Williamsburg (brooklyn). 718-387-2970.

Is anyone watching the new Bond movie this weekend? CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Hotness! hahah.

A Rainy Day

Hey guys, I have to store up all my words for a paper I have to write today. So again, the narration will be kept to a minimum. Hope you guys had a sunny weekend! =)

Yellow leaves outside our apartment.
Inside the Whitney Museum. We went to see William Eggleston's photos.
Check out the cool space ship that landed in central park! It's the Chanel Mobile Art exhibit. It was pretty neat. Janelle and I waited two hours to see this thing. Not sure if it was worth the wait, but I did get to make a wish on Yoko Ono's Wish Tree. =)
Creepy postcard that we got at the exhibit. haha.
All the guys who worked the lines are going to receive a $200 bottle of chanel cologne, but they don't get to keep the badass umbrellas and jackets they were wearing. We asked. haha.
Me in the middle of the mall at central park.

Me, Jennifer, and Kleinman.
So this is how I laugh, with my mouth gaped WIDE OPEN! SO NOT PRETTY!!! hhaha.

In front of Bethesda fountain. The end. Have a nice day!
